Define buyer questions
Five buying themes become ten fixed, neutral prompts. Your brand and up to three competitors are measured against the same set.
AI answers change. A single screenshot cannot tell you where your brand stands. Ask the same buyer questions repeatedly, record every answer, and see how often your brand appears beside the competitors that matter.
One research engine. Ten questions. Three independent answers per question.
We keep the research scope narrow so every number can be traced back to an actual response.
Five buying themes become ten fixed, neutral prompts. Your brand and up to three competitors are measured against the same set.
Perplexity answers every prompt three separate times. We retain the response text, model, time, and available source links.
A transparent name match checks each answer. The share shown is the fraction of completed answers that name each brand.
This is a teaching example. Select which of three answers mention a sample brand; the rate updates immediately.
“Which suppliers should a North American buyer consider for this product?”
In a real run, the answers are recorded, not chosen by the customer. A name match shows presence only; it does not prove endorsement or answer quality.
Across the complete study, the same count is repeated for 10 prompts × 3 answers = 30 observations per research day.
Every tracked brand is checked against the same answers. The daily view compares mention rates over time, so a new campaign or website change can be reviewed against recorded responses.

We want a number your team can inspect, not a score that asks you to take our word for it.
How often a chosen brand appears in repeated Perplexity answers to your fixed buyer questions, alongside the same measure for selected competitors.
A mention is not a recommendation, verified citation, traffic estimate, sales outcome, or result in Muse, ChatGPT, or every AI engine. Source links are retained for review, not counted as endorsements.
Brand matches use explicit names and aliases, not sentiment analysis. Rates can overlap because one answer may name several brands. Failed calls are visible and never silently counted as “not mentioned.”
Bring your brand, three competitors, and five buyer themes. We’ll agree on the question set before the first pilot run.
